Judge's DWI Blood Test Thrown Out - Favoritism? Judge's DWI Blood Test Thrown Out - Favoritism?

Texas Judge arrested for DWI has the blood test results suppressed and ultimately thrown out of Court.

After a hearing to decide the admissibility of the blood alcohol concentration of the Judge at the time of her arrest for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), another Judge suppressed the blood evidence in the DWI case.

Many that I have spoken to about this issue think that it is the Judge looking after a fellow Judge and trying to help because of the relationship.  However, having been a lawyer for 12 years, there are many other cases in which blood evidence is found to be inadmissible in a prosecution for Drunk Driving / DUI / DWI.

There have been many successful challenges to blood alcohol testing in Houston, Texas.  Just because the Government has evidence in its possession, does not necessarily mean they will be able to use it against the citizen accused.  For this reason, it is imperative that if you are charged with a Houston Driving While Intoxicated case - you need to find a qualified Houston DWI Attorney.
