Judge Pleads Guilty to Reckless Driving, Not DWI Judge Pleads Guilty to Reckless Driving, Not DWI

A County Judge pled guilty to a reduced charge of Reckless Driving in a plea deal that saved him from the stigma of a DWI conviction.

Judge James Heath was arrrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated - DWI / DUI back in October of 2008.  However, according to Court documents, Heath was allowed to enter a plea to a reduced charge of reckless driving to avoid the drunk driving conviction.

According to sources, a tape of the incident has been obtained in which the Judge pleads with the arresting officer to let him go.  The officers arrested Heath after he allegedly failed the field sobriety tests.
